BERT’s Smart Energy Suite is a “no out of pocket” offer that delivers energy cost savings without requiring upfront capital when rebates are available. BERT does all the work; you get the savings.
BERT will review your facility’s plug loads and operating patterns.
You will then receive a facility savings report estimating how much you can save with BERT.
Based on the audit, BERT installs smart plugs and related controls on selected high‑use devices.
Devices come pre‑scheduled so they start reducing parasitic and off‑hours loads immediately.
Over about 60 days, BERT measures energy use and verifies actual savings against the estimate.
You can view schedules and basic monitoring for the devices through the BERT platform.
If the savings do not reach the promised level (for example, around 30 dollars per month for the starter configuration), you keep the installed BERT devices at no charge.
If savings meet or exceed expectations and you continue, there is still no upfront capital cost for hardware.
You pay a low monthly subscription per device (for software and monitoring), which is designed to be less than the verified monthly energy savings.
Utility rebates and limited‑time incentives further reduce costs and can enhance the “no out-of-pocket” structure.
